About this race
The Friedrichstaler Waldlauf is a forest race in Friedrichstal, a district of Stutensee in Baden-Württemberg, and it is part of the Stutensee Cup. It takes place during the local Kerwe weekend and concludes the running season in Stutensee. The event includes running and walking, with flat 5 km and 10 km courses, as well as shorter races for children, youths, and students.
The main routes traverse the autumn Hardtwald forest, giving the race a local woodland club atmosphere rather than a city road race feel. All events conclude at Hermann-Löns-Straße 2 in Friedrichstal, on or near the TV Friedrichstal club grounds. Turnverein Friedrichstal, the largest sports club in Stutensee with over 1,000 members, organizes the event. The 10 km race has attracted over a hundred participants, including club runners, walkers, students, and local families joining the Kerwe-weekend festivities.
