Den Genfundne Bro Special 2027 Halvmaraton Walk

The Den Genfundne Bro Special 2027 Half Marathon Walk is a walking event held in the scenic Bakkelandet area near Brædstrup. The route passes Sukkertoppen, Fyelmose, Kloster mølle, and Den Genfundne Bro. The course includes forest paths, gravel paths/roads, and asphalt. Participants will be transported by bus from Brædstrup to Klostermølle to begin the walk. The route follows marked nature trails, indicated by small orange flags. An informational folder about the area will be provided. There are three aid stations along the route, and participants must register at two points. The first bus departs at 8:00 AM. The first aid station, located approximately 6.5 km into the walk, is where participants will register for the first time. It offers fruit, water refills, and toilets. The second aid station is at Den Genfundne Bro, approximately 14 km into the walk. Here, participants will register again and can obtain snacks and drinks. Toilets are also available. The third aid station is located approximately 18 km into the walk and provides drinks and candy. The event concludes at 3:00 PM, requiring participants to complete the route within 4.5 hours. Upon completion, participants will receive a water bottle, fruit, and a medal. Access to the three aid stations with snacks, fruit, coffee, tea, and cake is included. Changing and showering facilities will be available before and after the event. An information email containing all necessary details will be sent 8-10 days prior to the event. Participants are advised to bring a bag containing their packed lunch, snacks, and drinks or water bottles. Appropriate clothing and footwear for the prevailing weather conditions are recommended.
