Berrea Trail Race 2026

The Berrea Trail Race takes place in Orihuela del Tremedal, a village in Spain’s Teruel province. The event hub is at the Pabellón Polideportivo, located on the road to Albarracín. Held in December, the race offers multiple distances: 7 km, 13 km, 23 km, and 42 km. The longer courses involve significant elevation gain, with approximately 570 m for the 13 km, 1000 m for the 23 km, and 1500 m for the 42 km race. The Ayuntamiento de Orihuela del Tremedal organizes the event, which begins in the morning. Routes are provided for each distance. The 7 km and 13 km courses are also suitable for walking, welcoming hikers alongside runners. These race formats are non-competitive, emphasizing a communal mountain experience over intense competition, despite the challenging climbs and trail-specific terrain.
