Caminata para la Prevención del Ictus is a 5 km solidarity walk in El Serrallo, organized around the message “Caminemos juntos por el ictus” — “Let’s walk together for stroke.” The route is adapted for people with reduced mobility, so the event is built for participation beyond regular runners or fast walkers.
The walk focuses on stroke prevention and brain health, with support from the Antonius Musa Foundation of the COMT. The subject is serious: stroke is the leading cause of acquired disability, and estimates say one in six people will suffer one. El Serrallo hosts the third edition of the walk, giving the event a clear community-health purpose rather than a competitive racing identity.
