Carrera del Estrecho 2026

The Carrera del Estrecho Tarifa, also known as the Memorial Pepe Serrano, is a 6.4 km race held annually in Tarifa, Cádiz, each December. Organized by the Club Deportivo Amigos de Pepe Serrano with support from Tarifa’s town council, the event typically draws over 400 participants from various parts of Spain. The race begins and ends at Paseo de la Alameda, leading participants on an urban circuit that combines asphalt and trail segments. The course offers views of the Strait of Gibraltar, highlighting its unique Tarifa setting. The event also serves a personal mission: to commemorate Pepe Serrano, remembered by the organizers as a sportsman and friend, while promoting local running and the use of the nearby natural environment.
