Carrera Popular Ardales 2026

The Carrera Popular Ardales is a 13 km circular running race held in Ardales, a town in Malaga province, in December. Organized by the Ardales City Council, it is a road-and-trail event that departs from the urban center, following a federation-approved route through the surrounding natural areas. Plaza San Isidro is the race hub, with hot showers and changing rooms at the municipal pool. This is the event's sixth edition, intended to attract runners from across Malaga province. Before the main race, school-age runners compete in races from 500 meters to 2.7 km, and the day concludes with a communal rice dish.
