Cross de Montaña Subida al Cabezo Negro 2026

The Cross de Montaña Subida al Cabezo Negro is a 12 km mountain trail race held in Albatera, Alicante. It features 500 meters of elevation gain and follows a point-to-point course, beginning at the Santiago Sanz sports pavilion and concluding at Cabezo Negro. Typically categorized as a trail or cross-mountain event, recent editions have taken place in November with a morning start. A non-competitive option is available, ensuring the event accommodates participants beyond those focused on competition. The course centers on the ascent from Albatera towards the Cabezo Negro summit, lending the race its name and primary objective: to traverse from the sports pavilion to the hilltop finish via a short, demanding uphill route.
