Cross del Aceite 2026

Cross del Aceite is a cross-country race held in Torredonjimeno, a town in Jaén, Andalusia. The main event covers 9,000 meters and takes place in October as part of the Provincial Cross Country Circuit. The Torredonjimeno City Council organizes the race, with promotional and logistical support from the Provincial Council of Jaén. The course winds through Las Quebradas park, distinguishing it as a park-based cross rather than a road race. Approximately 1,000 runners are anticipated, following a recent edition that saw 1,200 athletes participate across all categories. Nearing its fortieth edition and certified by the Andalusian Athletics Federation, the event also features school races for younger participants, beginning with 500-meter distances.
