The Cross Internacional de Atapuerca is a cross-country race held in Atapuerca, in Spain's Burgos region. It takes place in cold and often challenging terrain, distinct from road or track races. The event is managed by the Diputación de Burgos via its provincial sport and youth institute and holds a Gold category status on the World Athletics calendar. Having completed over twenty editions, it serves as a consistent fixture for dedicated cross-country athletes, not merely a singular exhibition.
