Cursa Popular de Porqueres 2026

The Cursa Popular de Porqueres begins and ends at the Pavelló de Porqueres. Runners depart at 10:00 AM on December 8th. This is a competitive popular race covering 7.2 km, featuring category results instead of a single overall list. The Ajuntament de Porqueres organizes the event, with simple registration: lower cost in advance and slightly higher on race day. The course winds through Porqueres and nearby Camós, marking it as a short, local race rather than a large urban event. Porqueres participates in the Pla de l'Estany regional circuit for popular races, earning points alongside events in locations like Banyoles, Fontcoberta, Cornellà del Terri, Camós, and Serinyà. It is also the oldest race in this circuit, currently in its 29th edition.
