Eolos Race Alfaro 2026

Eolos Race Alfaro is a 6 km obstacle race held in Alfaro, La Rioja, starting and finishing in Plaza de España. Taking place in late November, it features 20 obstacles along a short course, emphasizing repeated challenges over long-distance strategy. Participants can choose between competitive, popular, or team heats. The minimum age is 16, and those under 18 require signed parental or guardian consent. The race provisions are practical and focused on the event: entry covers runner insurance, chip timing, an intermediate aid station, a final aid station, a finisher T-shirt, and a medal. The ankle-worn timing chip is better suited to the obstacle-race format than a bib-only system. Teams must consist of at least two members who register collectively. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in each category.
