Marcha MTB Bahía de Mazarrón 2026

The Marcha MTB Bahía de Mazarrón is a mountain bike event held in Puerto de Mazarrón, on Spain’s Murcia coast, typically in early November. It begins at 9:30 AM from Paseo del Rihuete, with e-bike participants starting 15 minutes prior. The finish line is at the same seafront location. The course covers approximately 50 kilometers, varying slightly by edition, and is classified by organizers as medium-high difficulty, not a simple coastal ride. Organized by Club Ciclista 9 y 1/2 de Puerto de Mazarrón, this event has been held for a minimum of 29 editions. The number of participants is limited to a few hundred, with recent caps set at 300 or 400, and one instance saw 275 registered riders. The route has previously incorporated Isla Plana and the dry ravine areas near Mazarrón, offering participants a blend of coastal scenery and inland mountain biking challenges. Age categories have accommodated riders from around 15 or 17 years old upwards, and bib collection occurs on the morning of the event.
