Tierra Estella Epic MTB 2026

Tierra Estella Epic MTB is a mountain bike race held in Ayegui / Aiegi, Navarra. Riders will navigate the vineyards, trails, and mountain tracks of the Tierra Estella region. The event takes place in early October, beginning in the morning. It provides a competitive race alongside a cicloturismo option, allowing participants to experience the same terrain without the pressure of a formal race. The primary Bike Marathon covers approximately 80-89 km with 2,500-2,700 meters of elevation gain, recognized as a C1 event on the UCI calendar. A Medio Fondo route is also available, approximately 50-52 km with 1,200-1,400 meters of climbing, which includes an e-bike option. Lizarraldea MTB is the organizer. The time limit is quite accommodating for a mountain bike marathon; a minimum average speed of 10.5 km/h allows over eight hours to complete the course.
