Bike and Run de l'AST Triathlon - La Teste-de-Buch 2027

At Plaine des Sports Moga in La Teste-de-Buch, the AST Triathlon Bike and Run is a two-person race centered on one shared mountain bike. One teammate runs while the other rides, and they can switch roles at any time, making pacing and teamwork as important as fitness. Race morning begins with bib collection at 8:30 AM, the bike park opens at 9:00 AM, the briefing is at 9:45 AM, and the race starts at 10:00 AM. The event provides two formats: an XS race of 11 km and an S race of 22 km. Both start with an 800 m loop on the stadium track for the first relay runner, then proceed onto mostly natural paths; the XS involves two laps and the S involves four. Helmets are required for both teammates for the entire race, only mountain bikes are permitted, and the format accommodates experienced athletes, amateurs, and pairs with varying abilities within the same setup.
