Courir à Meslay is a mid-October running event held in Meslay-du-Maine, located in the Mayenne department of France’s Pays de la Loire region. Its primary race is a measured half marathon, available as a solo effort or a relay, run on a course the organizers describe as relatively flat. The event also features an 8.5 km road race, a nature race, an 11 km hike, and a women-only race, catering to runners seeking a standard road distance alongside those desiring a shorter or less competitive option. The event is in its 18th year and typically attracts several hundred participants, with over 300 attending the last edition. The route incorporates road running and natural paths near forests, lakes, and ponds. Recent changes include reduced entry fees and a new Super U nature race, which offers an 11 km hike and replaces the Meslinoise race due to lower participation in recent years.
