About this race
Courses de la Fensch is a small trail-running series held at Hayange-Konacker in Moselle, starting from the Jacques Monod college sports complex. It features short off-road races: approximately 9 km and 14 km trail options, a canicross race for runners accompanied by dogs, and a children’s trail format for ages 6 to 11. The series attracts a few hundred participants, with finisher counts varying between just over 300 and more than 400 runners across its various races.
The routes traverse local forest paths near Hayange and the Fensch valley, passing through or close to Algrange, Nilvange, and Thionville, incorporating calcareous grassland into the terrain. Aid stations are positioned roughly every 5 km and at the finish line. The event facilities include bib collection, showers, a communal warm-up session, and a tombola. The children’s race is structured around a time goal of 10, 15, or 20 minutes, allowing families to participate without requiring a full-distance race commitment.
