Les Foulées de la Mue is a November running event in Calvados, centered on Rosel and including the nearby communes of Rots and Cairon. This is the race's 32nd edition, designed as a local run for all rather than a closed competition for specialists. The event also serves a clear charitable purpose, supporting two Calvados associations that aid individuals with rare diseases, including conditions that are poorly understood and often lack treatment.
The route combines roads, paths, and countryside, offering runners more variety than a simple town circuit. Families, friends, solo runners, club members, and those aiming for a personal best can all participate. The course records provide a benchmark for faster runners: Delphine Pasquer's women's record is 44:18, and Alexis Godefroy's men's record is 36:20. Thierry Leger, president of Association La Muse, captures the event's spirit with the quote, "Nothing can stop you and nothing can define you."
