About this race
Grands Trails d'Auvergne is a trail-running weekend held in October in Aubusson-d'Auvergne, located in the Puy-de-Dôme area of central France. The 16 km Speed-Trail is a short but hilly course, measuring 16.19 km with 571 m of climbing. Despite being the shortest race, it is not a flat, quick jog.
The series offers runners various distances, from the Speed-Trail to a 100-mile ultra of approximately 177 km with over 6,600 m of elevation gain. Most events include solo and duo formats, such as the 27 km Trail du Lac, 50 km Trail des Druides, 79 km ultra, and 360° Ultra-Trail. The 100-mile race begins on Friday, with other distances starting on Saturday.
