About this race
La Corrida du Puy-en-Velay is a Saturday evening race held in Le Puy-en-Velay, consisting of two 3.7 km laps through the city’s shopping streets. Place du Breuil becomes the race hub from 4 PM, with the event designed to be accessible to a wide range of runners, not just fast specialists.
The route keeps runners in the heart of town, serving as a quick tour of Le Puy-en-Velay’s old streets and heritage. The atmosphere resembles a running party more than a quiet road race, with a light show, DJ, dancers, and additional entertainment planned around the start area. This is the event's eighth edition. The first 500 registered runners receive a race T-shirt, and early entries can have their first name printed on the bib.
