La Dromoise 78 km is a cyclosportive held in Die, Drôme department, southeastern France, on the third weekend of September. The date is selected to avoid the intense late-summer heat on roads in a department nicknamed the “100 cols.” Organized by the Club Cycliste de Die, it is part of a three-day cycling weekend attracting over 3,000 participants, positioning La Drômoise among France’s ten largest cyclosportives.
The 78 km event is featured on the final day in the Diois. Longer 115 km and 138 km cyclosportive options are available, as well as cyclo-rando routes of 47 km, 78 km, 115 km, and 138 km. The weekend also offers a 100 km ride in the Baronnies provençales, 80 km and 115 km rides in the Vercors, gravel routes of 27 km, 55 km, and 75 km, and a 23 km Drômoise des familles for families. This variety ensures the event accommodates competitive cyclosportive riders, touring cyclists, gravel riders, and families.
