About this race

La Foulée Caumontoise is a late-November nature race held in Caumont-sur-Durance, a village in the Vaucluse region of Provence, situated near the Durance river. Organized by Les Galopants Caumont, it provides several short road-and-trail options instead of a single main distance. The typical running circuits are 6 km, 10 km, and 15 km, with walking routes also available around 8 or 9 km. The event is modest in scale, with over 100 participants noted in a past edition, presenting more as a local club event than a large urban race. The start and finish points are both located in Caumont-sur-Durance, with routes crossing local roads, paths, and the surrounding countryside. The ascents are present but not overly demanding: approximately 150 m for the 6 km, 250 m for the 10 km, and 350 m for the 15 km. The 10 km race is part of the Challenge Vauclusien, attracting local competitive runners, while the walk and shorter race accommodate casual participants. On-site amenities include refreshments, changing facilities, a group warm-up session, and prize-giving at the Caumont-sur-Durance sports hall.
