La Mégevanne, a women-only trail race in Megève, France, has been held in autumn since 2017. Participants can compete solo or in duos, with two mountain distances available: approximately 8 km with 350 m of elevation gain, and approximately 16 km with 800 m of elevation gain.
The course begins in the village and ascends toward the alpine pastures. A decision point allows runners to choose on race day whether to complete a single loop or proceed to the longer course. The event includes a guided warm-up before the start, GPX route files for pre-race study, and a buffet at the finish line, fostering a social atmosphere alongside the competition.
