Le Défi des Plages 2026

Le Défi des Plages begins at Parc Méditerranée in Six-Fours-les-Plages, on the Mediterranean coast of southern France. It is an evening coastal event offering both running and walking options, structured around short distances rather than a single standard race. Runners can select a fast 6 km, a more challenging 12.5 km, or a two-person relay divided into 6 km and 6.5 km segments. Walkers have a dedicated 4 km route. The course traces the Six-Fours coastline, utilizing the area’s beaches and paths alongside the sea. The Défi Express represents the quick, intense effort; the Défi Ultime is the extended challenge; the Défi Relais allows pairs to share the course; and the Défi Balade provides a more leisurely option for families and walkers to enjoy the coast. Consequently, the participants are intentionally diverse, including competitive runners, relay teams, walkers, and individuals primarily interested in the shoreline scenery, all commencing from the same seaside location.
