Les foulées déoloises - Déols 2026

Les foulées déoloises is a local road race in Déols, Indre, central France, held on a Sunday in late September. It offers races for adults and children. The adult events include a 7.5 km race, a 15 km race, and a 15 km relay. Children can participate in 750 m and 1.6 km runs. Entry fees for adult races are low, and children's races are free, accommodating club runners, casual local runners, relay teams, and families on the same morning. The event is organized by Coureurs de fond Déolois. Recent participation has been modest, with just over two hundred runners. The adult races begin in the morning, with the 15 km and relay starting together, followed by the children's races. Déols adds local character to the race; the town is near Châteauroux and is associated with the ruins of Notre-Dame de Déols, a former Benedictine abbey. Its surviving tower, walls, crypt, chapter room, and convent buildings remain on site.
