Les Virées du Patrimoine 2026

Les Virées du Patrimoine is a small race series in Courseulles-sur-Mer, a seaside town in Normandy, focused on local history and running. It offers four formats: La Dentellière, a timed 5 km road race; La Cursula, a timed 10 km road race; Le Défi des Ostréiculteurs, a non-timed 2.5 km fun run; and Les Chantiers Labreque, a 5 km walk. The first edition was scheduled for a Sunday in September, with approximately 1,400 participants anticipated. Starting from Place du Marché by Salle Quiquemelle, the routes guide participants through the town’s historical and cultural sites, not just a standard road loop. Association Liber’Trail organizes the event with town support. The program accommodates various groups: timed runners, walkers, fun-run participants, company teams in the 5 km and 10 km events, and those seeking a relaxed morning in Courseulles-sur-Mer.
