The Randonnée du Pays de Grignan begins in Salles-sous-Bois, a Drôme village in France. It takes place on an October Saturday as a one-day randonnée, not a competitive race. Les Cyclos grignanais organize the event, offering routes for road cyclists and walkers. The cycling options cover approximately 35 to 37 km, 70 km, and 90 km. Walking routes range from 7 to 15 km, depending on the source.
The longer cycling routes include significant climbs. The 70 km route features about 1,100 m of elevation gain, and the 90 km route has approximately 1,400 m. On-site registration is available around midday. Refreshments are provided along the routes, with a snack given to participants at the finish. Entry fees are reasonable: €8 or €10 for licensed cyclists, €7 for walkers, and accompanied minors can walk without charge.
