Circuit des Bruyères is a Sunday off-road cycling and walking event in Champagné, in the Sarthe department of France, organized by L'Élan sportif cycliste de Champagné. The VTT side offers three marked distances: 25 km, 35 km, and a newer 62 km loop built as the long option. Volunteers prepare the routes, and the bike courses are also open to gravel bikes, so riders can use machines made for both road sections and trails.
The 62 km VTT route runs in the Montfort-le-Gesnois area, while the walking routes head toward Butte d'Auvours and Yvré-l'Évêque; the longest walk reaches 19 km and includes the woods of Changé. The event is already in its 26th edition, which gives it the feel of a local fixture rather than a one-off ride. Participants are asked to bring their own cup, and Le resto routier de Champagné is treated as an important stop, the kind of place where people slow down and talk after the effort.
