Roses de l'Etang 2026

Roses de l'Etang is an early-October trail and walking event held in Pujaut, Gard department, Occitanie, near Avignon. It is organized as part of Octobre Rose, with proceeds supporting the Ligue contre le cancer. While the program varies slightly each year, it focuses on short trail races and a walk. Options typically include a 21.1 km trail with 420 m elevation gain, a 12.5 km trail with 130 m elevation gain, a 14.7 km trail named La Pujautrail with 270 m elevation gain, and a 7 or 9 km walk. The routes traverse the garrigue surrounding Pujaut, Sauveterre, and Roquemaure, offering participants dry Mediterranean scrubland scenery instead of an urban course. Walkers might encounter a mid-course surprise, and the finish area maintains the charity event atmosphere with post-race entertainment. A large paella is provided for post-race catering, with a limit of 150 participants. The event also features practical local elements, such as modest entry fees, a club contribution per bib, and carpooling arrangements between Le Pontet and Pujaut.
