Run & Bike Pechabou is an annual nature race held in Péchabou, southeast of Toulouse, utilizing the Lauragais hills. The primary event is a two-person run-and-bike format where teammates alternate between running and riding a mountain bike along the course. A trail running option is available for solo participants. The event features four races, covering distances of 12 or 23 kilometers, with the two shorter races open to participants under 18.
Approximately 500 individuals register annually, creating a local yet active atmosphere without being overwhelming. The participants include amateur runners, competitive club athletes, triathlon license holders, volunteers, sponsors, families, spectators, and supporters. Free children’s activities are provided on race day, tailored to different age groups. The event embraces its welcoming nature with the motto, “Come at least for the atmosphere!” Organizers refer to it as a “mythical” Run & Bike, reflecting its focus on teams, muddy bikes, trails, and the rolling countryside southeast of Toulouse.
