The Trail de Guip’ begins at Espace Sportif Europe on rue Commandant-Challe in Guipavas, near Brest in Brittany, offering a winter Sunday schedule focused on trail running and nature walking. Organized by Guipavas Oxygène, this fourth edition features timed races of 12 km, 31 km, and 39 km, alongside a secret race revealed on the day. The two longer trails commence at 8:30 AM, with the 12 km nature race and the secret race starting at 9:00 AM. A 10 km walk is also available, ensuring the day accommodates participants beyond those seeking timed results.
The Grand Trail de Guip’ presents the most challenging option at 39 km with 850 m of elevation gain; the 31 km Trail de Guip’ includes 650 m of climbing, and the 12 km nature race features 270 m of ascent. A notable section of the course involves the Guipavas quarry, where participants in the 31 km and 39 km races will navigate both a descent and an ascent within it. The event welcomes amateur and experienced runners, as well as walkers seeking a marked outdoor route. The two longer races require mandatory equipment, registration is managed through Klikego, and a portion of the proceeds benefits La Brise, a Brittany network that supports interdisciplinary care for children.
