Trail de la Bultière - Bazoges-en-Paillers 2026

The Trail de la Bultière is a trail-running event held in Bazoges-en-Paillers, located in the Vendée region of western France. Races begin at the St Pierre school grounds. The event takes place in October and features three primary distances: 9 km with 110 m of elevation gain, 14 km with 260 m, and 22 km with 320 m. Starts are staggered throughout the morning, beginning with the longest race, and results are recorded using electronic chips. The courses are semi-self-sufficient, requiring participants to carry their own water, with a bottle or hydration pack suggested. Children’s races are also scheduled for later in the morning. Recent years have incorporated new trail sections and utilized private land, offering a fresh experience for those who have participated before. Now in its thirteenth edition, the race has established a local tradition, distinct from a temporary village event.
