Le Trail de la Mine 2027

The Trail de la Mine takes place in mid-September in Saint-Pierre-la-Palud, a commune in the Rhône region bordering the Monts du Lyonnais. This nature and forest race offers several distances, typically around 29 km, 14 km, and 9 km. Recent listings also include loop races of approximately 24 km and 12 km. The longer distances are challenging: one Trail XS is listed as 25 km with 1400 m of elevation gain, and the Boucle des Maquisards covers 24 km with 1500 m of gain. The routes traverse the wooded terrain surrounding the village, avoiding city streets. The shorter Boucle des Mineurs is noted at 12 km with 500 m of climbing, presenting a more accessible yet still hilly forest run. The event includes races for children and a free hike. One past edition saw 510 runners on three courses, 192 children in youth races, and around forty hikers.
