About this race
Trail des Châtaigniers is a small trail-running event in Sèvres-Anxaumont, a commune in the Vienne department near Poitiers. It takes place on an autumn Saturday and maintains a simple format: runners select either 7 km or 14 km, accommodating both short-distance participants and those seeking a longer local trail run.
The association Oxygène + organizes the race, which draws a modest field, with results showing just under 150 participants. A notable option is canicross, where several runners complete the event with their dogs. The top finishers indicate a swift pace at the front: D. Parisot completed the men’s 7 km in 26:08, Céline Moigner won the women’s 7 km, and J. Vivion finished the men’s 14 km in 52:58.
