Trail des lumières - Villers-lès-Nancy 2026

Trail des Lumières is a night trail race in Villers-lès-Nancy, France, starting and finishing at the Faculty of Sport. Runners can select from multiple adult distances, ranging from 7 km to 27 km, and a 42 km Backyard race composed of six 7 km loops. The primary routes are technical and take place after dark, requiring a headlamp as part of the essential gear, along with a cup, water, and, depending on the distance, a mobile phone or whistle. The course is marked with reflective tape and flagging tape, important for runners navigating the route at night. Children have separate races at Parc de Rémicourt, with distances of 300 m, 700 m, and 1500 m. The 7 km Octobre Rose race and the children’s races also support causes, with a portion of entry fees donated to cancer charities and child welfare organizations. Practical amenities include showers, limited baggage storage for essentials, aid stations on select routes or at the finish, free photo galleries from previous years, and food and drink available on site post-race.
