Trail la-cley du coeur - Lagnieu 2026

The Trail La-Cley du Coeur is a charity trail event in Lagnieu, located in the Ain department of eastern France. Races and walks take place on natural terrain, organized by the local association Déchaîne Ton Coeur. This group utilizes sporting and cultural events to raise funds for medical research, with a particular focus on pediatric cancers. Participants can select a longer race of approximately 22 km with about 383 m of elevation gain, or a shorter 10 km race with roughly 160 m of climbing. The event also features children's races and walking hikes. While the distances and elevation gains have evolved, the longer race no longer qualifies for the local Mountain Challenge. Consequently, it functions more as a community trail day centered on fundraising rather than a standardized championship event.
