Trail transfrontalier des 2 Monts - Montmédy 2026

The Trail transfrontalier des 2 Monts is an autumn trail race held in Montmédy, offering two running distances: 12 km and 28 km. The 28 km race begins at the citadel, and the Place de l'Infirmerie serves as the event's village, hosting the start and finish lines. A 13 km gourmet walk is also available for those who prefer not to run. The course incorporates the historical sites of Montmédy, featuring scenic viewpoints and autumn foliage. In one edition, approximately 300 participants took part in the races and walk, assisted by over 80 volunteers from the organizing group, la Rando des Follies. The start and finish village provides music, food, and beverages. WWI reenactment groups have also been present at the Place de l'Infirmerie, connecting the event to the region's military past.
