Dark Valley, Night Trails 2026

Dark Valley, Night Trails is a torch-lit trail race held in the woods of Moors Valley Country Park, situated near Ringwood on the Hampshire-Dorset border. All participants begin in the early evening, following a brief safety talk. Runners can opt for one, two, or three laps of a 10km loop, resulting in race distances of 10km, 20km, or 30km. A headtorch or chest torch is required, and winter gear is important as the race takes place after dark under potentially changing weather conditions. The course consists of wide, winding forest paths bordered by trees, leading from the event HQ into the country park and returning. BigFeat Events marks the course with fluorescent directional signs. Runners are also advised to download the GPX route in case markers are displaced or missed in the darkness.
