Kingston Half Marathon 2026

The Kingston Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race in Kingston upon Thames, held in October. It serves as an autumn half for runners seeking a fast time or a marathon tune-up. The race begins and ends in Kingston Market Place, with practical arrangements including chip timing, pacemakers, marshals, sweep marshals, first aid, and a UKA-certified course that is measured and clearly marked. The route follows flat tarmac streets through Kingston before proceeding towards Teddington Lock. It then continues along the river towpath, passing Hampton Court Palace. Over 1,500 runners typically participate, including club runners aiming for a quick half, individuals preparing for late-autumn marathons, and first-time participants tackling the distance. Finishers receive a medal, a tech tee, and a goody bag with drinks and snacks. The event also encourages runners to support Kingston Hospital Charity.
