About this race
The Nidderdale Way Ultramarathon is a trail-running event held in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, each mid-October. Participants can select from 45 km, 88 km, 133 km, or 177 km races, offering distances from a long trail day to a multi-stage ultra effort.
The routes traverse forests and natural countryside in Nidderdale, with elevation gains for each distance: 1,048 m for the 45 km, 2,223 m for the 88 km, 3,271 m for the 133 km, and 4,446 m for the 177 km. The 177 km race is the most popular, and the series is part of the UTMB Index, relevant for runners seeking qualifying scores for UTMB events.
