Race The Sun Jurassic Coast 2027

Race The Sun Jurassic Coast is a team multisport challenge held on June 26, 2027. It involves a bike ride, hike, and paddle. Teams of two or four race against the setting sun, with all members participating in each discipline. As a team event, the pace is determined by the slowest member, requiring the team to stay together throughout the race. Based in Swanage, the first leg is a 21-mile off-road bike ride covering gravel trails, roads through Corfe, and chalky ascents across Ballard Down. The second leg is a 10-mile hike/trek, a circular route along parts of the South West Coast Path and returning to Swanage through rural farmland. The final leg is a 2-mile sea canoe or kayak paddle off Swanage beach.
