River Thames Half Marathon 2026

The River Thames Half Marathon is a flat, fast, and picturesque 13.1-mile race running past Hampton Court Bridge. The event takes place in the beautiful Surrey town of Walton-on-Thames, largely traffic-free and ideal for those aiming for a personal best or completing their first half marathon. The course follows the River Thames towpath and roads to Hampton Court Bridge, with terrain including flat path, road, gravel, and grass. The race is certified by England Athletics and features motivating pacemakers, a tech tee, free race photos, a finisher medal, and a goody bag. Marshals and sweep marshals, along with first aid, are present throughout the course. Water stations are located at approximately 3, 5.5, and 8.5 miles, with additional water and refreshments at the finish.
