Scare Bear Run - North | 2026

Scare Bear Run - North is a timed running event held at Durham Amateur Rowing Club, located on Green Lane in Old Elvet, Durham. Rather than a set race distance, it offers runners and walkers a seven-hour period to complete their desired distance, starting with a minimum of 3 km and the possibility to extend for additional laps. A standard full lap measures 4.37 miles (7 km), although the route might change to 3.28 miles if course conditions necessitate it.
