About this race
Swim as far as possible within a 4-hour time period. This event is open to all abilities, from beginners attempting their first 1,000m swim to experienced swimmers aiming for 10,000m. The event takes place in a 50-meter pool. Participants will swim 20 laps of 500 meters each within the four-hour window. Each lap involves entering the pool at one end, swimming 100 meters, ducking under lane ropes, swimming another 100 meters to the other side, and exiting over a timing mat. A designated rest area is available for participants to hydrate and prepare for their next lap. The objective is to complete 10 kilometers, or to swim the maximum distance possible within the time limit. Participants will be timed and scored based on the number of laps completed and their average lap time.
