The 4 Calling Birds Run 2026

The 4 Calling Birds Run is an off-road race at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye, where runners and walkers can choose distances from 5 km up to an ultra. All participants have the same 7-hour time limit, accommodating those seeking a short run, a marathon-distance challenge, or additional laps. This event is part of a 12 Days of Christmas-themed race series, and finishers will receive a medal designed around the 4 Calling Birds theme. The course is contained entirely within the manor grounds, using a 2.5 km loop that includes hills and passes through two vineyards. The lap format simplifies distance calculation: 5 km requires two laps, with longer options extending from there, including 10 km, half marathon, marathon, and ultra distances. Participants collect their race bibs upon arrival. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person, allowing them to complete their chosen distance elsewhere. Additionally, a charity entry route offers a discounted place for participants who reach a fundraising target for a nominated charity.
