Bakony Teteje Félmaraton és Kakas-hegy Trail

From Fenyőfő, the race enters the Magas-Bakony, where the forest shows autumn colors. The Bakony Teteje Félmaraton és Kakas-hegy Trail is a challenging half marathon: red trail markings lead toward Bakony Teteje and Kőris-hegy, followed by a long return through ridges and woods. The route's autumn foliage is integral to the run, not merely background. The course descends past the Búcsi stream and its secluded valley before rejoining the green trail to Fenyőfő. Runners who are less prepared, recovering from injury, or new to the sport have the shorter Kakas-hegy Trail option. The main field encounters a single on-course refreshment station, located on Kőris-hegy. Registration takes place in the yard of Laci bácsi’s pub. The finish offers practical rewards: a refreshment table, a unique medal, and Bakony outlaw soup for all participants.
