Campi Bisenzio: Meeting di atletica leggera dedicato a Emil Zatopek 2026

The Atletica Campi is organizing a significant athletics meeting dedicated to Emil Zatopek, commemorating the 100th anniversary of his birth. The event will take place on Saturday, September 10th, at the Zatopek stadium in Campi Bisenzio. This meeting aims to be the first in a series of national and international events held annually in Campi. The September event will primarily feature 5000-meter races for both men and women, with the participation of renowned foreign and Italian athletes specializing in this distance. Additionally, the meeting will include athletics competitions for the Florence Metropolitan City Olympics and Paralympics, focusing on youth categories. A torch ceremony will precede the event, starting on September 5th from nearby Signa and arriving in Campi.
