VI^ Varese City Run

The Varese City Run is Varese's official half marathon, featuring a FIDAL-certified 21.097 km race beginning and ending in the city centre. The start is on via Sacco, and the event offers shorter distances: a 10 km race and a 5 km Family Run. A previous edition saw 2,000 participants start, with over 500 children in the Family Run. The course was redesigned to showcase Varese, moving away from an older route. Sport Più organizes the event, which is part of the Running People circuit, connecting Castellanza, Legnano, Busto, Rescaldina, and Gallarate. Race day includes a Village VCR in the Giardini Estensi, with music in the gardens, bringing together competitive runners, local sports fans, families, and children for the morning.
