11e Molenloop (Molensmooiste) Alblasserdam-Kinderdijk

MolensMooiste is a running race in Kinderdijk, South Holland, starting and finishing within the windmill area of the UNESCO World Heritage site. The event features 8 km and 16 km distances, positioning it between a short road race and a longer local challenge. This edition is an autumn race, and the organization is affiliated with the Atletiekunie. The route crosses the Kinderdijk mill landscape and the Alblasserwaard polders, leading organizers to describe it as the most Dutch course in the Netherlands. Stichting Werelderfgoed Kinderdijk and AAA Atletiekvereniging Alblasserdam are collaborating on the race, which moved from the Molenloop name to MolensMooiste. The new course design places runners directly among the mills, not just with them in the background, and early participants are invited to be among the first to run the revised route.
