Bikse Bos en Heidetocht (MTB)

The Bikse Bos en Heidetocht is an off-road cycling tour starting in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, organized by Wielervereniging RTCH Hilvarenbeek. The primary MTB ride provides 25 km and 45 km choices along marked paths, with participants beginning in the morning from Café Gouden Carolus. Helmets are required, the MTB course is mostly flat, and registration can be done in advance or on the day of the event. The event also includes a gravel option, featuring 65 km and 105 km routes navigated by GPS. The shorter MTB and gravel routes include a mid-point break, while the 105 km gravel route has two stops offering sports drink, tea, cookies, and fruit. Post-ride amenities at Café Gouden Carolus include a bike wash, secure bike parking, showers, changing rooms, and soup. With over thirty-five editions completed, the tour maintains the feel of a practical club-organized outing.
