Triathlon Zwolle 2026

Triathlon Zwolle takes place in September at the Milligerplas recreation lake in Zwolle, Overijssel. Solo participants can choose from three distances: a 1/8 (500m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), a 1/4 (500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run), or the 1/3 Triade Triathlon (1,500m swim, 40km bike, 15km run). The 1/8 distance is for adults and youth, while the longer individual distances are for athletes aged 18 and over. The race begins near Grand Café Milligers, located by the finish and transition zone. Swimmers will be in the Milligerplas, cyclists will ride the dike along the Zwarte Water, and runners will go around the lake. This setup allows spectators to remain near the central race area. Teams of two or three can compete in the 038 relay, covering a 1km swim, 40km bike, and 10km run. This event is in its fifteenth year and relies on over 100 volunteers annually, collaborating with local municipalities, sponsors, Triathlon Vereniging Triade, and the race organizers.
